The fate of many players changed in the IPL auction 2022 auction, one of which is Himachal Pradesh’s fast bowler Vaibhav Arora. For Vaibhav Arora, there was a tremendous competition in Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings but in the end Punjab Kings picked Vaibhav by paying a hefty amount of 2 crores. He was a part of Kolkata Knight Riders previously, but he never got a chance to play. The swing bowler is one of the promising cricketers of the future. He made his first-class debut for Himachal Pradesh in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy season and then went on to make his T20 debut during the 2020-21 edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In a special chat with NNIS Sports Vaibhav said that he would buy a house for his mother from the money he got from the auction.
